(TWO MULTI USE COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS – ON THE
BOARDS)
A solution for the implementation of the new Dana Point Town
Center Specific Plan, this design includes two mixed-use buildings separated by an alley and
joined by subterranean parking garages. The total parking is 54,000 square feet. The street
level and mezzanine levels provide 21,000 square feet of retail space; mid-level has 21,000
square feet of office space; the upper level is residential. Nine units (over 20,000 square
feet) have ocean views and decks and access to 18,000 square feet of green parkland on the roof.
This project is a very green project incorporating active and passive solar energy solutions,
green insulation, building materials, lighting solutions, irrigation and plantings. The buildings
are designed in a Mission/Santa Barbara style with attention to an intricate facade providing
interest and a compelling human scale. |
