The Davidson Renovation is an update to a fine, beautiful home located an alley away from the Pacific Ocean. The new owner asked us to update the flow of the house to facilitate her day-to-day living and entertaining. With great attention to detail and respect for the home's original beauty our program has moved this home into the 21st century.
THE EXTERIOR is now an oasis of privacy and luxurious beauty. Much of the space and flow remained the same, but with new materials and giving the open space purpose it transformed. A larger dining and cooking space for entertaining, a trellis for shade during those hot summers, a fireplace for those brisk nights, and spaces for lounging and relaxing gave this underutilized backyard a open refreshing feel for this family to take advantage of.
THE INTERIOR made a huge transformation with a opening the floor plan and brightening finishes created a more livable space. Repurposing the stucco beams to rustic wood and brightening the furnishes made all the difference. Opening up the kitchen made this space much more functional for what this family wanted.
